NTPC Green appoints Sushuma Kumari as CGM, RE-Asset Management
NTPC Green Energy Limited (NGEL), a subsidiary of NTPC Limited, has appointed Smt. Sushuma Kumari as Chief General Manager (CGM), RE-Asset Management Group, with effect from June 30, 2026. The position is one level below the Chief Executive Officer, making her part of the company’s senior management.
According to the company, Sushuma Kumari has more than 33 years of experience in the power sector, with expertise in the digital transformation of power plant operations.
She holds an M.Tech degree in Power Generation Technology from IIT Delhi and has worked in areas including emission control, plant safety, operational reliability and technology-driven improvements in power generation.
The company said her appointment is expected to support NGEL’s renewable energy business and strengthen its focus on efficient and sustainable asset management.
The appointment was disclosed under Regulation 30 read with Schedule III of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015.
