NTPC Green adds 6 MW to Dayapar wind project in Gujarat

NTPC Green Energy Limited (NGEL), a subsidiary of NTPC Limited, has announced the commercial operation of an additional 6 MW wind power capacity at its Dayapar site in Gujarat. The new unit became operational from midnight on July 31, 2025.
The Dayapar Wind Energy Project (Phase I) has now reached 146 MW of commissioned capacity out of a planned 150 MW. Located in Bhuj, Gujarat, the project is part of a larger 450 MW hybrid renewable energy initiative being implemented by NTPC Renewable Energy Limited, a step-down subsidiary of NTPC.
The first 50 MW of the project has been operational since November 4, 2023. Another 90 MW was added on April 9, 2025. The latest addition brings NTPC Group’s total installed capacity to 82,902 MW.
NTPC made the announcement in accordance with Regulation 30 of SEBI’s Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements, fulfilling its disclosure obligations to investors and market stakeholders.
