NTPC fully commissions 245 MW Plot-3 at Nokh solar park

NTPC Limited has commissioned the final 52 MW of capacity under the 245 MW solar project (Plot-3) of its 735 MW Nokh Ultra Mega Solar Park in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan. The milestone was achieved on June 22, 2025.
With this, the full 245 MW capacity under Plot-3 is now operational. NTPC has cumulatively commissioned 490 MW at the site.
The 735 MW project, being developed in three equal plots of 245 MW each, is implemented by NTPC in EPC (engineering, procurement and construction) mode. It is part of the larger 925 MW Nokh solar park, spread across 1,850 hectares.
The solar park is being developed at an estimated investment of Rs 40 billion. Rajasthan Solarpark Development Company Limited (RSDCL), a subsidiary of Rajasthan Renewable Energy Corporation Limited (RRECL), is the Solar Power Park Developer (SPPD) for the project.
Earlier, NTPC commissioned 193 MW under Plot-3 on June 9, 2025.
