NTPC‘s board has approved investment proposals totalling approximately Rs 800 billion for thermal power projects with a combined capacity of 6,400 MW. The approved projects include:
Telangana Super Thermal Power Project, Phase-II: 3×800 MW units at an estimated cost of Rs 293.44 billion.
Gadarwara Super Thermal Power Project, Stage-II: 2×800 MW units at an estimated cost of Rs 204.45 billion.
Nabinagar Super Thermal Power Project, Stage II: 3×800 MW units at an estimated cost of Rs 299.47 billion.
As of September 30, NTPC Group’s installed power generation capacity reached 76,443 MW, up from 73,824 MW a year earlier.
