The Nordex Group closed 2025 with a substantial series of orders for onshore wind projects across Europe, totalling over 884 MW of new capacity. The contracts span multiple countries and include long-term service agreements for the turbines.
In late 2025, Nordex secured contracts for 15 projects in France, Belgium, and Portugal. The orders cover 78 turbines with a combined capacity of more than 414 MW and include multi year service and maintenance agreements. Deliveries are scheduled for 2027 and will use different models from the Delta4000 platform, with hub heights of up to 134 meters. The company said these projects further strengthen its supplier position in these countries.
In December 2025, German developer UKA (Umweltgerechte Kraftanlagen GmbH & Co. KG) placed an order for 33 N175/6.X turbines under an existing framework agreement. The order totals 224.4 MW and includes a 20 year Premium Service contract. The turbines will be installed at nine wind farms in Brandenburg, Thuringia, and North Rhine Westphalia on 179 meter hybrid towers, with construction starting from 2027. UKA Managing Partner Gernot Gauglitz said the turbines support project profitability, while Nordex Vice President Region Central Karsten Brüggemann said the order deepens the long standing partnership.
Nordex also received several orders from independent power producers in Spain at the end of 2025, covering 38 turbines with a total capacity of 245.8 MW. The projects are located in Teruel, Navarra, Burgos, and León and will use different turbine models. European independent power producer Nadara placed its first Spanish order with Nordex for 12 N163/6.X turbines for the 75 MW Castillo 1 project in León, which is scheduled for commissioning in early 2027. All Spanish projects include long term Premium Service contracts.
The Nordex Group has installed approximately 57 GW of wind power capacity in over 40 markets and generated consolidated sales of around €7.3 billion in 2024. The company employs over 10,400 people and manufactures turbines in Germany, Spain, Brazil, India, the USA, and Mexico, focusing on onshore turbines in the 4 to 7 MW+ classes.
