MPUVNL awards 4.01 GW in 4.3 GW PM KUSUM-C solar auction

Madhya Pradesh Urja Vikas Nigam Limited (MPUVNL) announced the results of its 4.3 GW solar auction held under Component C of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Urja Suraksha evam Utthaan Mahabhiyan (PM KUSUM) scheme, with 4.01 GW of capacity awarded to 82 companies.
Among the key winners, Dilip Buildcon Limited secured 1,363.54 MW at a tariff of Rs. 2.73 per kWh, while Sunbridge Solar Power won 471.29 MW at Rs. 2.75 per kWh. Other major allocations included Landsmill Industries with 422.02 MW at Rs. 2.7 per kWh, Purshotam Profiles with 173.15 MW at Rs. 2.69 per kWh, and Ceigall India Limited with 130 MW at Rs. 2.850 per kWh. The remaining bidders together secured 1,459.25 MW.
In a subsequent regulatory filing, Dilip Buildcon disclosed that its award relates to a 1,363.55 MW AC project under the non-Domestic Content Requirement category. The company stated that the engineering, procurement, and construction business value is approximately Rs. 4,900 crore, excluding taxes. Project execution is targeted within 18 months, with power to be supplied to Madhya Pradesh Power Management Company Limited under a 25-year agreement.
Separately, Ceigall India confirmed that it emerged as the lowest bidder for a 130 MW AC solar power plant across two districts in Madhya Pradesh. The company indicated an 18-month execution timeline and a 25-year power purchase agreement.Â
According to the tender conditions, the scope of all awarded projects includes the design, construction, and commissioning of solar plants, as well as associated grid interconnection infrastructure, and 25 years of operations and maintenance services.
