The Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) has included Fujiyama Power Systems Limited in the fifth revised edition of the Approved List of Models and Manufacturers (ALMM) List-II for solar photovoltaic cells. The company’s facility in Gautam Buddha Nagar, Uttar Pradesh, has been enlisted with an approved capacity of 437 MW per year. The enlistment is valid from February 13, 2026, to February 12, 2030.

The approved products are bifacial mono-crystalline silicon Passivated Emitter and Rear Cell (mono-c-Si PERC) solar cells of 182.2 mm x 182.2 mm size with 10 busbars and PID-free configuration. These cells have an average efficiency of 23.41%, with a range between 22.60% and 23.60%. The approved wattage range is 7.46 W to 7.79 W. The manufacturing unit is located at Nangla Chamroo, Gautampuri, Dadri, in Gautam Buddha Nagar district.

Fujiyama commissioned its 1 GW solar cell manufacturing plant at Dadri on January 21, 2026, with an investment of Rs 300 crore funded through internal accruals and debt. The entire 1 GW cell capacity is intended for captive use to support its solar module manufacturing operations. The company has a total module manufacturing capacity of 1.6 GW, of which 1.2 GW is located at Dadri.

With this revision, the total enlisted capacity under ALMM List-II stands at 26,823 MW, or about 26.82 GW. This figure reflects the currently approved manufacturing capacity across all listed companies.

Waaree Energies leads the list with 5,251 MW across its Gujarat facilities. Its Navsari plant accounts for 1,328 MW of Mono PERC and Mono Tunnel Oxide Passivated Contact (TOPCon) cells, while its Umbergam facility contributes 3,923 MW of Mono PERC and TOPCon capacity.

The Tata Group holds a combined capacity of 4,813 MW. Tata Power Renewable Energy Limited has 280 MW at its Bengaluru facility, while TP Solar Limited has 4,480 MW at its Tirunelveli plant in Tamil Nadu, manufacturing Mono PERC and TOPCon bifacial cells.

Mundra Solar PV Limited of the Adani Group has an enlisted capacity of 3,832 MW for N-Type TOPCon cells at its Kutch facility in Gujarat. FS India Solar Ventures Private Limited has 3,433 MW at its Sipcot Industrial Park facility in Tamil Nadu. Premier Energies Photovoltaic Private Limited has a revised capacity of 3,283 MW for TOPCon cells at Fab City in Ranga Reddy district, Telangana.

Other enlisted manufacturers include ReNew with 1,766 MW, Emmvee with 1,553 MW, Evervolt Solar Technology India Pvt. Ltd. with 1,074 MW at Tirupati in Andhra Pradesh, Jupiter with 779 MW, Websol Energy System Limited with 602 MW at Falta in West Bengal, and Fujiyama Power Systems with 437 MW.

ALMM List-II was introduced following MNRE’s Office Memorandum dated December 9, 2024, which amended the ALMM framework to cover solar photovoltaic cells. Subsequent revisions have expanded the list to incorporate new manufacturers and additional approved capacities.
