Meghmani Organics signs 3.3 MW hybrid power pact

Meghmani Organics Limited (MOL) has signed a renewable energy supply agreement with Pro Zeal Green Power Fifteen Private Limited to procure 3.30 MW of wind solar hybrid power. The agreement was executed on 13 January 2026 and is intended to meet the company’s captive power requirements in Gujarat.

In a disclosure to the stock exchanges, the company said it will invest Rs 3.63 crore to acquire a minimum 26% stake in the power producer. The investment will be made through equity share capital and compulsory convertible debentures in one or more tranches over a period of 6 to 9 months. The remaining 74% stake will be held by the promoter, Prozeal Green Power Private Limited.

MOL said the arrangement aims to address its growing energy needs while supporting its sustainability objectives through compliance with captive consumer provisions under the Electricity Act. The company clarified that the transaction does not qualify as a related party transaction and is being carried out on an arm’s length basis.

Pro Zeal Green Power Fifteen Private Limited was incorporated in June 2025 and has not yet commenced commercial operations.
