KEC International Limited has announced new orders worth Rs 1,150 crore in its domestic operations. The company disclosed on 12 December 2025 that it has secured two major contracts in India.

The Transmission and Distribution business has received its largest order to date from a private sector client for a composite project. The scope covers a 765 kV transmission line and a 765 or 400 kV air-insulated switchgear substation on a lump sum turnkey basis. The Civil business has won a separate contract for additional civil and structural works at a 150 MW thermal power plant from another private developer.

Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer Vimal Kejriwal said the transmission order will support renewable energy evacuation. He said the win has raised the share of private sector clients in the company’s transmission and distribution order book in India. The company said its year-to-date order intake has crossed Rs 18,000 crore and supports progress towards its annual target.
