JSW Neo Energy, a subsidiary of JSW Energy, has secured a letter of award (LoA) from NTPC to develop a 300 MW ISTS-connected wind-solar hybrid power project. This award comes from NTPC’s tariff-based competitive bid for 1,000 MW hybrid power projects (NTPC-Tranche-VI).

With this new project, JSW Energy’s total locked-in generation capacity has increased to 16.7 GW, including a hybrid capacity of 2.6 GW. The company aims to expand its generation capacity to 20 GW and achieve 40 GWh of energy storage by 2030.
