JSW Energy raises Rs 250 crore through issue of unsecured NCDs

JSW Energy Limited has completed the allotment of Rs 250 crore in unsecured, listed Non-Convertible Debentures (NCDs). The Finance Committee approved the issuance on November 12, 2025, as part of a board-approved plan to raise up to Rs 3,000 crore.

The issue includes 25,000 debentures with a face value of Rs 1,00,000 each. The NCDs carry a fixed coupon rate of 8.05% per annum and have a tenure of three years, maturing on November 10, 2028. Interest will be paid annually, and the principal amount will be repaid in full at maturity.

The debentures are unsecured, with no assets pledged as collateral, and are proposed to be listed on BSE Limited. According to the company, the fundraise forms part of its broader corporate financing strategy.
