Jakson Green Renewables, a wholly owned subsidiary of Jakson Power Private Limited, has secured third-party operation and maintenance (O&M) contracts totalling 1 GWp. With this, its solar O&M portfolio has grown to 5 GWp.
The new contracts cover four large-scale solar projects across Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh, and Tamil Nadu, with capacities ranging from 75 MWp to 435 MWp.
In addition to its O&M expansion, Jakson is among the four bidders for the Chennai Metro Rail Project Phase-II’s package CP 11B-C3-E&M-02. This package includes supply, installation, testing, commissioning, and training for electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and air conditioning (VAC) systems.
The overall Chennai Metro Phase-II project involves the development of three corridors (III, IV, and V), covering 118.9 km and 128 stations. The estimated cost of the project is Rs 632.46 billion. Most of the network will be underground, with elevated stretches at select sections.
