Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency Limited (IREDA) reported provisional business performance for the financial year ended March 31, 2026, with its loan book outstanding reaching Rs 93,075 crore, up 22% from Rs 76,282 crore a year earlier.

Loan disbursements rose 16% to Rs 34,946 crore, compared with Rs 30,169 crore in FY2025, while loans sanctioned increased 9% to Rs 51,883 crore from Rs 47,453 crore. The figures are provisional and subject to audit. The company disclosed these updates to the stock exchanges on March 31, 2026.

IREDA also reported that its wholly owned International Financial Services Centre subsidiary, IREDA Global Green Energy Finance IFSC Limited (IGGEFIL), has received its inaugural international credit rating. CareEdge Global Ratings assigned IGGEFIL a Long-Term Foreign Currency Issuer Rating of BBB+/Stable, aligned with India’s sovereign rating.

According to the company, the rating reflects IGGEFIL’s institutional linkage with its parent and its role in renewable energy financing. Pradip Kumar Das, Chairman of IGGEFIL and Chairman and Managing Director of IREDA, stated that the rating is expected to support diversification of funding sources and lower borrowing costs for clean energy projects.
