Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency Limited (IREDA) has posted a net profit of Rs 16.98 billion for 2024–25. This marks a 35.62 per cent rise from Rs 12.52 billion in the previous year. The company’s total income increased by 36.07 per cent to Rs 67.56 billion, up from Rs 49.65 billion in 2023–24.
Waaree Renewable Technologies Limited also reported a significant jump in profitability. Its net profit rose to Rs 2.29 billion in 2024–25, up 57.93 per cent from Rs 1.45 billion in the previous year. Total income increased sharply by 83.09 per cent to Rs 16.13 billion, compared to Rs 8.81 billion in 2023–24.
Both companies have shown strong financial performance, reflecting the growing momentum in the renewable energy sector.
