Insolation Energy Limited announced the appointment of Mr. Shreemat Pandey as an Additional Non Executive Independent Director, effective February 5, 2026. The appointment was approved by the board and is subject to shareholder approval.
Mr. Pandey is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer with 35 years of service. He holds a Bachelor of Technology in Electrical Engineering from IIT Kharagpur. His previous roles include Secretary to a Chief Minister, Chairman of the Rajasthan Electricity Regulatory Commission, and District Magistrate in multiple districts of Rajasthan. The board cited his experience in power sector policy, information technology, and public administration as relevant to governance and strategic guidance.
The appointment is for a five year term ending on February 4, 2031. Mr. Pandey will not be liable to retire by rotation during this period. The company stated that he is not debarred from holding a directorship by any order of the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Securities and Exchange Board of India) or any other authority. It also confirmed that he has no relationship with other directors or key managerial personnel of the company.
