INOXGFL Group companies have signed two separate agreements with the KP Group to jointly build 5 GW of renewable energy capacity across India. The plan covers wind, solar, and hybrid projects and brings together the strengths of both groups in manufacturing, project development, and long-term operations.
Inox Wind Limited and KP Energy Limited will work together on 2.5 GW of wind and wind solar hybrid projects. Inox Solar Limited and KPI Green Energy Limited will develop 2.5 GW of solar projects. Inox Green Energy Services Limited will handle operations and maintenance for all turbines and modules installed under the partnerships.
For the 2.5 GW wind portfolio, Inox Wind will supply wind turbine generators, offer engineering support, and manage commissioning and O&M. KP Energy will take charge of land acquisition, connectivity, statutory clearances, and Balance of Plant and EPC work.
The agreements aim to use the INOXGFL Group’s manufacturing, engineering, and O&M capability alongside the KP Group’s project development experience. The companies expect this combined framework to support faster execution of utility scale renewable projects. Inox Green Energy Services Limited currently oversees about 12.5 GW of renewable assets.
