Gujarat State Electricity Corporation Limited (GSECL) has commissioned a 10 MW/12 MWp solar power project in Manjal, located in the Kutch district of Gujarat. The project was developed by Kosol Energie Private Limited under an engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) agreement.
Kosol Energie received a Letter of Intent (LoI) from GSECL in July 2022 to set up the project. The solar plant, built on 45 acres of wasteland at Manjal village in Nakhatrana taluka, features 545 Wp bi-facial modules and 144 half-cut cells, ensuring enhanced efficiency.
This solar power project is part of the broader initiative to develop solar photovoltaic (PV) grid-connected power plants across various wastelands in Gujarat, under the management of Gujarat Energy Transmission Corporation (GETCO).
