GREW Solar has secured an order to supply 500 MW of high-efficiency solar photovoltaic (PV) modules from a leading power developer in India. The company will deliver its M10R and G12R module series for upcoming utility-scale solar projects across multiple locations.
The modules are designed to deliver higher efficiency, reliability, and performance under varied operating conditions. GREW Solar currently operates a 6.5 GW PV module manufacturing facility in Rajasthan and plans to expand capacity to 11 GW. The company is also developing an 8 GW solar PV cell manufacturing facility in Madhya Pradesh.
Earlier this month, GREW Solar secured a repeat order to supply 550 MW of solar modules to a leading Independent Power Producer (IPP). The company said the repeat order indicates continued developer confidence in its manufacturing capacity and execution for utility-scale solar projects.
GREW Solar began operations in 2022 and has expanded manufacturing capacity in recent years. The company produces high-efficiency M10 tunnel oxide passivated contact (TOPCon) modules with power ratings of up to 590 Wp. It is investing in advanced manufacturing processes, in-house research and development (R&D), and backward integration to meet Approved List of Models and Manufacturers (ALMM) requirements expected to be enforced from June this year.
