The joint venture of GP Eco Solutions India Limited and Synergy Wave Limited has received a Letter of Intent (LoI) worth Rs 505.2 million from Braithwaite & Company Limited (BCL). The contract is for setting up a 10 MW solar photovoltaic (PV) project in Jagatsinghpur district, Odisha.
BCL had invited bids for the project in March 2025. The scope includes design, engineering, procurement, supply, construction, erection, testing, and commissioning. It also covers 10 years of comprehensive operation and maintenance (O&M).
The solar PV plant, with a capacity of 10 MW/12 MWp, will be developed on 41.5 acres of land at Paradip Port Trust (PPT) in Paradip. The project will operate in behind the meter mode.
In addition to the plant, the JV will also install the associated high tension (HT) underground cable, electrical systems, and a 33 kV feeder line. The evacuation system will be developed up to the point of interconnection.
Completion is expected by February 2026.
