JA Solar completes 1 GW delivery for Ulan Buh Desert energy base project

JA Solar has successfully delivered high-performance n-type PV modules to the 1 GW photovoltaic project at the Ulan Buh Desert Northeast New Energy Base in China. This energy base is part of a broader 12 GW wind and solar power initiative. The project’s execution using JA Solar’s advanced n-type modules highlights the company’s capacity to support large-scale renewable energy ventures.

The first shipment from JA Solar began in early 2024, and the delivery was completed within 180 days. Monthly peak deliveries exceeded 400 MW, demonstrating the company’s commitment to on-time execution. The pilot project serves as a milestone for the broader Ulan Buh Desert New Energy Base.

Sol Systems achieves financial close on $345 million Tilden solar project

Sol Systems has reached a financial close and begun construction on the Tilden solar project, a $345 million initiative with a capacity of 182 MW. Located on a mine site in Randolph County, Illinois, the project will generate clean energy to power approximately 33,800 homes annually.

The financial close was made possible through collaboration with ING, Churchill Stateside Group, Qcells, Nextracker, and McCarthy Building Companies, combining financial expertise, domestic manufacturing, and advanced construction practices to drive clean energy solutions.
