GH2 Solar, a clean energy and green hydrogen engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) company, has announced plans to develop a 100 MW solar power project integrated with a battery energy storage system (BESS) in Jodhpur, Rajasthan. The project will be set up under the independent power producer (IPP) model with an estimated investment of Rs 400 crore to Rs 450 crore.

The proposed facility will combine 100 MW of solar capacity with a 100 MW/60 MWh BESS. The storage system will be configured across two units of 50 MW/30 MWh each. The site has been selected in a high solar irradiation zone to support consistent energy generation throughout the year. Commissioning timelines remain contingent on regulatory approvals.

The project is structured to supply round-the-clock renewable energy, with a focus on industrial users and green hydrogen production. Upon commissioning, the plant is expected to generate around 16 crore units of electricity annually, supporting decarbonisation in energy-intensive industries.
