Fujiyama Power to invest Rs 6.5 billion in solar manufacturing in MP

Fujiyama Power Systems, a major player in the rooftop solar segment, has acquired 24.89 hectares in Ratlam, Madhya Pradesh, to set up a solar manufacturing facility.
The Delhi-based company plans to invest Rs 6.5 billion to produce solar panels, lithium-ion batteries, and allied solar products.
The facility, set to begin with a production capacity of 2 GW, will cater to residential, commercial, and industrial segments, with exports to over 10 countries.
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav highlighted the project’s potential to make the state a hub for solar manufacturing, achieving energy self-reliance and environmental sustainability.
Madhya Pradesh Industrial Development Corporation (MPIDC) stated that Fujiyama must finalize the lease and take possession of the land within 60 days.
Executive Director of MPIDC Ujjain, Rajesh Rathore, noted that the project would create thousands of local jobs, boost Ratlam’s economic growth, and increase the availability of solar energy products in the state.
