Envision Energy India has received a 300 MW wind turbine order from UPC Renewables India for upcoming projects in Karnataka. The order covers 60 wind turbine generators for installation at the Bijapur site.
The first phase totals 100 MW and includes 20 turbines scheduled for delivery early next year. This phase is tied to a power supply agreement with SJVN Limited and is planned to begin operations in January 2027. Once all 60 turbines are commissioned, the projects are expected to produce about 900 million units of electricity each year.
The company has been expanding its order book in recent months. In October, Envision Energy India secured a 502 MW wind turbine supply contract from Evren, a renewable energy platform backed by the Brookfield Global Transition Fund.
