Encavis Asset Management AG (Encavis AM) and Commerzbank AG have finalized the project financing for the Bartow solar project, which is set to become Germany’s second-largest solar facility with a capacity of 260 MW. Located in Bartow, Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, this project is part of the Encavis Infrastructure Fund IV (EIF IV) portfolio, available for subscription through BayernLB and targeting savings and cooperative banks.
The project’s construction began in March 2024, with completion expected in the latter half of 2025. Most of the generated electricity will be sold to LyondellBasell under a 12-year Power Purchase Agreement (PPA).
