Desco Infratech Limited, KPI Green Hydrogen and Ammonia (a KP Group company), and Naveriya Gas Private Limited have entered into a partnership to launch hydrogen–natural gas blending projects in the city gas distribution sector. The initiative aims to support India’s shift toward cleaner energy and reduce dependence on imported liquefied natural gas (LNG).
Under the agreement, KPI Green Hydrogen and Ammonia will produce green hydrogen for the projects. Desco Infratech will provide engineering and technological support to enable the blending of hydrogen with natural gas. Naveriya Gas will integrate the blended fuel into its city gas distribution network to ensure stable and sustainable supply.
According to a statement from Desco Infratech, the collaboration marks a significant step toward developing green energy infrastructure and advancing India’s clean energy transition in line with the vision of Aatmanirbhar Bharat.
