Delhi Metro’s Blue Line, connecting Yamuna Bank with Vaishali in Ghaziabad, has received carbon-neutral certification, marking a significant milestone for the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC). Officials highlighted this achievement as part of DMRC’s commitment to reducing its carbon footprint and addressing climate change.
This certification follows similar recognition for DMRC’s corporate headquarters at Metro Bhawan and staff quarters in Sector-50, Noida.
DMRC aims to inspire other urban transport systems to adopt eco-friendly practices, setting a benchmark for sustainable operations.
