Deadline extended for proposals under green hydrogen mission

The Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) has extended the deadline for submissions under the second call for proposals on funding support for green hydrogen testing facilities and regulatory development.

The call for proposals, titled “Funding of testing facilities, infrastructure, and institutional support for development of Standards and Regulatory framework under the National Green Hydrogen Mission,” was first issued on 11 August 2025.

According to the notice dated 24 September 2025, the last date for submissions has been moved from 25 September 2025 to 10 October 2025.

The submission process has also been revised. Instead of submitting hard copies directly to the National Institute of Solar Energy (NISE) in Gurugram, applicants must now send scanned copies of their proposals to Hydrogen@nise.res.in by 10 October 2025. A hard copy must still be provided to NISE within one week of that date.
