Crompton Greaves Consumer Electricals Limited has received a letter of empanelment from Madhya Pradesh Urja Vikas Nigam Limited (MPUVNL) for off-grid solar photovoltaic water pumping systems.
The scope covers design, manufacture, supply, installation, and commissioning of direct and alternate current systems with capacities of 2 HP, 3 HP, 5 HP, and 7.5 HP. These will be deployed under the PM Krishak Mitra Surya Yojana. The order is valued at about Rs 42.4 million and must be executed within 60 days of the work order.
In July 2025, the company had secured a separate contract from the Maharashtra Energy Development Agency to supply and install 4,500 off-grid solar pumping systems.
