India’s non-fossil electricity capacity reaches 250 GW
India’s non-fossil fuel power generation capacity has reached 250 gigawatts (GW) in 2025, rising from 81 GW in 2014, according to Union Minister for New and Renewable Energy Pralhad Joshi.
