BAJEL Projects Limited has secured a major contract from a private developer for the establishment of 400 kV and 765 kV air-insulated switchyard (AIS) extension substations. The contract was awarded on June 24, 2025.
The scope includes the supply of all extra high voltage (EHV) equipment along with mandatory spares, tools, tackles, and auxiliaries. In addition to the supply, BAJEL will carry out erection, testing, and commissioning (ETC) services. Civil works for the installation of equipment and auxiliaries are also part of the package.
This win comes close on the heels of another key order. On June 20, 2025, BAJEL secured Transmission Line Package involves power evacuation from the Mahan Energen Limited Generating Station in Madhya Pradesh.
These back-to-back wins reflect the company’s growing footprint in high-voltage transmission infrastructure.
