Avaada Group has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Odisha government to invest Rs 207 billion in renewable energy projects. 

The investment will support the development of 1,500 MW of floating solar projects, two 1,000 MW Pumped Storage Projects (PSP), and green energy equipment manufacturing units. 

The agreement was formalized at the Make in Odisha Conclave 2025, attended by Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi. The event, inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, aims to position Odisha as a green energy hub.

At the summit, Avaada Group highlighted its expertise in solar, wind, and green hydrogen. Chairman Vineet Mittal emphasized the company’s commitment to sustainability and innovation in clean energy. Avaada Group is a global leader in solar module manufacturing, renewable power, and green hydrogen-based fuels.
