Adani Green Energy Twenty Six B Limited, a subsidiary of Adani Green Energy Limited (AGEL), has commenced commercial operations for a 67 MW solar power project under the 30,000 MW Khavda Wind-Solar Hybrid Power Park in Gujarat’s Rann of Kutch on February 24, 2025.
The Khavda project includes 26,000 MW of solar and 4,000 MW of wind power, with Gujarat Industries Power Company Limited (GIPCL) as the nodal agency. Adani Green is developing the project, while Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI), Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (PGCIL), and the Central Electricity Authority (CEA) are responsible for developing transmission capacity.
On the same day, Madhav Infra Projects Private Limited commissioned a 12.5 MW solar power project at Lakadiya in Kutch, completing its 35 MW/44 MWp capacity. Madhav Infra won the project from Gujarat State Electricity Corporation Limited (GSECL) on an engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) basis in June 2022. The solar project spans 87 hectares near the Gujarat Energy Transmission Corporation (GETCO) substations.
