ACME Urja One Private Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of ACME Solar Holdings Limited, has signed a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with Solar Energy Corporation of India Limited (SECI) for a 190 MW Inter-State Transmission System (ISTS)-connected wind-solar hybrid project with assured peak power supply. The 25-year PPA was executed on February 18, 2026.

The project represents part of a 380 MW capacity awarded under SECI’s Tranche-VI hybrid auction, with the first 190 MW now under a formal PPA. The agreement requires ACME to deliver power at a minimum annual Capacity Utilisation Factor (CUF) of 50% and meet 80% of daily peak power demand. The discovered tariff has been set at Rs 4.72 per unit.

Connectivity has been secured for all components of the project, including solar, wind, and battery energy storage systems (BESS). The tariff has been adopted by the Hon’ble Central Electricity Regulatory Commission (CERC), and the procurement plan has received approval from the relevant State Electricity Regulatory Commission (SERC).

The project has obtained financing from Power Finance Corporation Limited (PFC) under an already sanctioned Phase II project. The Scheduled Commercial Operation Date (SCOD) is February 27, 2028. Transmission and connectivity timelines have been aligned with the COD requirements defined in the PPA.

Following this agreement, ACME Solar’s total PPA-signed portfolio has increased to 5,820 MW. During the current financial year, the company has executed PPAs aggregating 1,240 MW.

ACME Solar Holdings Limited operates as an integrated renewable energy company with a portfolio of 8,071 MW across solar, wind, storage, Firm and Dispatchable Renewable Energy (FDRE), and hybrid solutions. Its operational contracted capacity stands at 2,966 MW, while 5,105 MW is under construction, including around 17 GWh of BESS installations. The under-construction PPA-signed portfolio is currently 2,854 MW. The company handles project development and O&M through its in-house Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) and O&M divisions.
