Adani Green Energy has announced that its independent review into the US indictment of its founder and senior executives has found no evidence of non-compliance or irregularities.
In a filing to the stock exchange, the company stated that it had appointed independent law firms to conduct a thorough review of the allegations. This review aimed to assess whether there were any non-compliances related to the case. The result of the review confirmed that no such irregularities were found.
The US authorities had indicted Gautam Adani and top executives in November 2024, accusing them of being involved in a $250 million bribery scheme to secure power contracts and mislead US investors. In response, Adani Green Energy initiated its review in January 2025 to ensure transparency and governance.
The company has expressed confidence that the ongoing US legal proceedings will not have a material impact on the business or the group’s operations.
