ACME Solar Holdings Limited has approved an investment to increase its shareholding in its subsidiary, ACME Sigma Urja Private Limited, from 49% to 99.66%. The company will subscribe to 1.5 million new equity shares for a total consideration of Rs 1.5 crore.
The decision was approved by the Operational Committee on October 10, 2025, as part of ACME Solar’s plan to fund the development, construction, and commissioning of a new renewable energy project. The acquisition is expected to be completed within seven business days.
ACME Sigma Urja, incorporated in October 2023, operates in the power generation sector and has not reported any turnover for the past two financial years.
