ACME Solar Holdings Limited (ASHL) has signed two Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) through its subsidiary, ACME Greentech Seventh Private Limited, with SJVN Limited for a total capacity of 450 MW / 1,800 MWh. The agreements were executed on March 2, 2026, and will remain valid for 25 years.
The PPAs arise from the Tranche-FDRE-4 tender issued under Tariff-Based Competitive Bidding (TBCB) guidelines. An e-reverse auction for the tender took place on October 9, 2025. Following the auction process, ASHL received the Letter of Award (LOA) on November 10, 2025.
The projects will be connected to Inter-State Transmission System (ISTS) substations. The company plans to utilise its night-time transmission connectivity at high irradiation sites in Rajasthan to supply power under the agreements.
Under the PPAs, ASHL has committed to deliver four hours of assured peak power during non-solar hours. The supply is linked to a minimum availability requirement of 90% on both a monthly and annual basis.
With the execution of these agreements, ASHL has secured 1,690 MW of PPAs during the current financial year. The company’s total signed PPA portfolio has reached 6,270 MW, indicating continued capacity addition ahead of FY26.
