ACME Solar Holdings Ltd has received a letter of award for developing a 50 MW firm and dispatchable renewable energy (FDRE) project at a tariff of Rs 4.43 per unit. The award came under Tata Power Company Limited’s 250 MW FDRE tender conducted by its distribution arm Tata Power-D.

The FDRE tender was carried out through tariff-based competitive bidding, followed by an e-reverse auction on 13 August 2025. As part of the agreement, the project will be required to achieve a minimum annual capacity utilisation factor (CUF) of 40 percent and deliver four hours of peak-hour supply with 90 percent monthly availability.

The project will integrate solar generation with a battery energy storage system (BESS) to ensure dispatchable supply. It will operate under a power purchase agreement (PPA) with a 25-year term. The commissioning deadline is 24 months from the date of PPA signing.

ACME Solar Holdings has an operational capacity of 2,890 MW across solar, wind, storage, FDRE, and hybrid projects. The company manages development, engineering, procurement, construction, and operations in-house.
