ACME Solar commissions second phase of Rajasthan BESS project

ACME Solar Holdings Limited (ASHL) has commissioned the second phase of its Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) project in Rajasthan through its wholly owned subsidiary, ACME Sun Power Private Limited. The newly commissioned phase adds 33.335 MW / 160.51 MWh of storage capacity and achieved Commercial Operation Date (COD) on March 14, 2026.

The second phase follows the commissioning of the project’s first phase on March 8, 2026. The project is located at Village Badi Sid in Tehsil Bap, covering parts of the Phalodi and Jodhpur districts in Rajasthan.

With the addition of the second phase, ACME Sun Power has commissioned a total of 66.67 MW / 320.99 MWh under the project. This represents around 22% of the project’s planned capacity of 300 MW / 1,409.34 MWh.

The two phases were commissioned within a span of six days. The remaining capacity of about 233 MW is planned to be developed in subsequent phases.
