ACME Solar Holdings Private Limited has signed a 25-year power purchase agreement (PPA) with NHPC Limited for a 250 MW firm and dispatchable renewable energy (FDRE) project in Rajasthan. The agreement was signed on June 20, 2025.
The agreement has been signed at a tariff of Rs 4.56 per kWh. The project is required to maintain a minimum annual capacity utilization factor (CUF) of 40 percent and meet 90 percent of peak power demand for four hours daily.
The project will be developed on a build-own-operate basis. It will integrate solar, wind, and battery storage technologies to deliver firm power. Connectivity to the Inter-State Transmission System (ISTS) is already in place.
With this agreement, ACME Solar’s PPA-signed portfolio stands at 5,130 MW. Of this, 2,826.2 MW is operational, while the remaining capacity is under various stages of development.
