Purvah Green to acquire Bhojraj Renewables

Purvah Green Power, a subsidiary of Calcutta Electric Supply Corporation (CESC), has signed a binding term sheet to acquire 100% of Bhojraj Renewables Energy. Purvah Green partners with Ecoren Energy for wind power project

CESC’s subsidiary, Purvah Green Power, has signed a binding term sheet with Ecoren Energy India to develop a wind power project with a capacity of up to 686.85 MW. The project is expected to be completed within three years, pending necessary permits and approvals from relevant authorities. Purvah Green Power focuses on renewable energy generation and trading, while its parent company, CESC, based in Kolkata, specializes in the generation, transmission, and distribution of electrical power.

Purvah Green Power Private Limited, a subsidiary of CESC Limited, has established a wholly-owned subsidiary, Redgaint Renewable Power Energy Private Limited (RRPEPL).  With a subscribed and paid-up capital of Rs 100,000, RRPEPL will explore new opportunities in the renewable energy sector, furthering CESC’s commitment to expanding its presence in sustainable power generation.

Purvah Green secures 300 MW solar PV project from CESC

Purvah Green Power, a subsidiary of CESC Limited, has been awarded a letter of award (LoA) to develop a 300 MW solar PV project. Of the total capacity, 150 MW will be developed under tariff-based competitive bidding, while the remaining capacity will fall under the greenshore option. A power purchase agreement (PPA) has been signed for 25 years, commencing with the start of the power supply.

PGPPL signs SPA to acquire 100 per cent stake in Deshraj Solar Energy

Purvah Green Power Private Limited (PGPPL), a wholly owned subsidiary of CESC Limited, has signed a share purchase agreement (SPA) to acquire a 100 per cent stake in Deshraj Solar Energy Private Limited.  Upon completion, Deshraj Solar Energy will become a step-down subsidiary of CESC. This acquisition aligns with CESC’s strategy to expand its presence in the renewable energy sector.
