Clime Capital Management Private Limited has announced plans to invest up to USD 10 million in Upgrade Energy Philippines to accelerate the deployment of solar energy infrastructure across the country. The funding comes from the Southeast Asia Clean Energy Fund.

Upgrade Energy, which began its solar journey with a rooftop installation in 2015, aims to surpass 50 MW of installed solar capacity by the end of 2024. Over the next four years, the company plans to develop 700 MW of solar projects, including commercial, industrial, and utility-scale developments, such as a major solar project in Zambales.
