KPI Green Energy energizes over 630 MW DC in three months
KPI Green Energy Limited has energized more than 630 MW DC of capacity across its Independent Power Producer (IPP) and Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC)/Captive Power Plant (CPP) businesses during the June-August quarter. The company said this is the highest capacity it has energized in any three-month period since its inception.
The capacity covers a mix of IPP assets and projects executed through the company’s EPC business. The quarterly addition is also higher than the 533 MW cumulatively energized by the company over approximately 17 years from its inception through December 2024.
Dr. Faruk G. Patel, Chairman and Managing Director, KPI Green Energy, said, “Crossing 630+ MW DC of energization in a single quarter is the highest-ever pace of capacity addition in our history, and a clear reflection of the execution capability we have built across both our IPP and EPC businesses. Every megawatt we energize brings us closer to our long-term capacity goals and to India’s energy transition targets. We remain focused on scaling responsibly, strengthening our annuity income base, and delivering sustained value to all our stakeholders.”
The company is advancing towards the KP Group’s broader target of more than 10 GW of renewable capacity by 2030. KPI Green Energy continues to expand its operational portfolio while converting its order book across India’s growing renewable energy sector.
