Waaree Renewable raises 980 MWp solar EPC order value to Rs 1,045 crore

Waaree Renewable Technologies Limited (WRTL), a subsidiary of Waaree Energies Limited, has received a scope enhancement worth Rs 30.91 crore under an existing Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) contract for a 980 MWp / 700 MWac solar power plant.

The latest revision takes the total contract value to Rs 1,044.69 crore, inclusive of taxes. The company received intimation of the scope enhancement on June 17, 2026.

Scope enhancement

The additional work has been awarded by one of India’s leading renewable energy companies, a domestic entity. The enhanced scope forms part of an existing EPC contract for the solar power project.

WRTL said all other terms and conditions of the original contract remain unchanged. The execution timeline for the additional work will be mutually decided between the parties.

Previous expansion

This is the second disclosed increase in the value of the EPC contract. In November 2025, WRTL announced a scope enhancement of Rs 27.22 crore, which increased the contract value to Rs 1,017.82 crore. The latest enhancement of Rs 30.91 crore has now raised the total contract value to Rs 1,044.69 crore.

The original Letter of Award for the project was disclosed on February 20, 2024.
