Atlanta Electricals wins Rs 285 crore PSTCL transformer order
Atlanta Electricals Limited has received a Letter of Award (LOA) from Punjab State Transmission Corporation Limited (PSTCL) for the supply of 23 units of 160 MVA, 220/66 kV power transformers along with Nitrogen Injection Fire Prevention and Extinguishing Systems (NIFPES) and optional spares. The total order value is about Rs 285.15 crore, inclusive of applicable taxes.
The order includes Rs 284.51 crore for transformers and NIFPES, and Rs 63.67 lakh for optional spares.
The company said it has been associated with PSTCL since 2018 and has supplied around 200 transformers in Punjab with an aggregate installed capacity of nearly 5,000 MVA.
Manufacturing portfolio
Atlanta Electricals manufactures power transformers ranging from 5 MVA/11 kV to 500 MVA/765 kV, including auto transformers, furnace transformers, and generator transformers.
As of December 31, 2025, the company had supplied 4,710 transformers with a cumulative capacity of 1,07,229 MVA from its five manufacturing facilities located in Gujarat and Karnataka.
Commenting on the order, Chairman and Managing Director Niral Patel said the award reflects continued business from PSTCL and is expected to support capacity utilisation across the company’s manufacturing facilities while strengthening its presence in Punjab.
Financial performance
Atlanta Electricals reported consolidated revenue from operations of Rs 1,851.52 crore in FY26, registering a 48.8% year-on-year increase.
Profit after tax (PAT) rose 70.1% to Rs 201.77 crore, while earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) increased 77.9% to Rs 344.44 crore. EBITDA margin expanded by 304 basis points to 18.60%.
In May 2026, the company also secured a Rs 190 crore order from Rajasthan Rajya Vidyut Prasaran Nigam Limited for the supply of 53 power transformers.
