TARIL wins Rs 175 crore order for Rajasthan GIS projects
Transformers and Rectifiers (India) Limited (TARIL) has secured a domestic order worth Rs 175 crore from Bhanwariya Infra Projects Private Limited, the company informed stock exchanges on Tuesday.
The order includes manufacturing and associated work for four transformers and five reactors. The equipment is scheduled for delivery on or before March 2028.
The transformers and reactors will be deployed in two 400/220 kV gas-insulated substation (GIS) projects located at Kumber, Bharatpur, and Amber, Jaipur in Rajasthan under Rajasthan Rajya Vidyut Prasaran Nigam Limited (RRVPNL).
In its regulatory filing, TARIL stated that the contract has been awarded in the ordinary course of business. The company also clarified that the transaction does not fall under related party transactions and that neither its promoters nor promoter group entities hold any interest in the awarding company.
The company said it continues to focus on strengthening its position in the domestic transformer manufacturing market through execution of transmission sector orders.
Last month, TARIL secured an export order worth USD 16,258,352, equivalent to around Rs 150 crore, from PDC AK LPIV, LLC. The export contract covers manufacturing and supply of five transformers, with delivery scheduled by mid-2027.
