Accord Transformer signs MoU with Moscow district for energy collaboration

Accord Transformer & Switchgear Limited (ATS) has entered into a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Western Administrative District of the City of Moscow to explore cooperation in energy infrastructure and industrial development.
The non-binding agreement was signed on March 22, 2026, in Haryana, the company said in a stock exchange filing. It outlines a framework for collaboration across energy infrastructure, manufacturing, engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) projects, technology and skill development, and engagement with government and institutional stakeholders.
Scope of cooperation
Under the MoU, both sides will examine joint opportunities in the supply, installation and commissioning of transformers, distribution systems, switchgear and related electrical equipment. The arrangement also covers potential joint ventures, local assembly units and manufacturing facilities in Moscow to support local production.
The collaboration is aimed at strengthening industrial linkages, enabling technology exchange, and supporting sustainable energy solutions between India and Russia.
Pradeep Kumar Verma, chairman and managing director of ATS, said the agreement creates opportunities for technology exchange, infrastructure development and access to international markets.
ATS, headquartered in Gurugram, manufactures transformers and switchgear and operates production facilities in Bhiwadi.
