ACME Solar commissions BESS phases in Bikaner and Jaisalmer

ACME Solar Holdings Limited (ASHL) has commissioned new phases of its Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects at two locations in Rajasthan, with both achieving commercial operation date (COD) on March 25, 2026.

At Bikaner, ASHL commissioned the first phase of 60 MW / 269.606 MWh through its wholly owned subsidiary ACME Surya Power Private Limited. The project is located at Village Jaimalsar in Bikaner district and is part of a planned 250 MW / 1,103.392 MWh facility at the site.

At Jaisalmer, ASHL commissioned the fourth phase of 95 MW / 200.64 MWh through ACME Suryodaya Private Limited at villages Sanwara and Mehar Nagar in Tehsil Pokhran. With this addition, ACME Suryodaya has operationalised 171 MW / 361.14 MWh out of the total planned 285 MW / 601.904 MWh capacity. The remaining capacity of about 114 MW is yet to be commissioned.

The Jaisalmer project has progressed through multiple phases in a short period. The third phase was commissioned on March 13, the second phase on March 14, and the first phase on February 25.

The Bikaner and Jaisalmer projects are part of ACME Solar’s broader Rajasthan storage programme. The company is developing a total of 585 MW / 2,011 MWh of BESS capacity across the state through multiple special purpose vehicles (SPVs), with the Bikaner project forming a newly commissioned segment of this pipeline.
