Advait Greenergy Private Limited (AGPL), a material subsidiary of Advait Energy Transitions Limited (formerly Advait Infratech Limited), inaugurated its Phase I, 30 MW Alkaline Electrolyser Assembly Facility on Thursday, marking the company’s entry into domestic green hydrogen equipment manufacturing.

The facility was inaugurated by Shalin Sheth, Managing Director of Advait Energy Transitions Limited, in the presence of Shri Ashwini Kumar, IAS, Principal Secretary, Energy & Petrochemicals Department, who attended as the Guest of Honour.

The Phase I facility forms the first stage of a three-phase expansion plan. Phase II aims to expand capacity to 100 MW, while Phase III targets the development of a fully automated 300 MW integrated manufacturing complex designed for industrial-scale hydrogen production.

The company stated that the expansion plan is aligned with India’s National Green Hydrogen Mission and the COP26 Panchamrit commitments.

On the same occasion, AGPL signed seven memoranda of understanding (MoUs) across project development, manufacturing, and research collaboration.

MoUs were signed with Deep Industries Limited and G Power Solutions to jointly bid for and execute green hydrogen projects. The collaboration will target tenders from NTPC Limited (NTPC), Solar Energy Corporation of India Limited (SECI), Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOC), Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL), Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL), Gas Authority of India Limited (GAIL), and state utilities.

An MoU with Nangia & Co. LLP and Nangia Global Advisors LLP focuses on project identification, feasibility studies, financial modelling, and mobilisation of investments for green hydrogen opportunities.

For manufacturing initiatives, AGPL signed an MoU with Wuhan Huagong International Development Co., Ltd (HGTECH) for the design, supply, installation, and commissioning of a 2.5 GWh Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) manufacturing line.

Another agreement with MKC Infrastructure Limited and Hexatron Industries Limited covers BESS component integration and solar photovoltaic (PV) module supply.

For solar engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) activities, AGPL signed an MoU with Mecpower Solutions Limited to jointly pursue ground-mounted solar tenders across Gujarat, Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, and Madhya Pradesh.

AGPL also entered into an academic partnership with Ganpat University’s U.V. Patel College of Engineering. The collaboration will focus on curriculum development, industrial training, and research in green hydrogen, solar energy, BESS, and fuel cell technologies.

The company stated that the signed MoUs are preliminary in nature. Detailed disclosures under the applicable Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) circular will be filed once binding agreements are executed with the respective parties.
