KEC International Limited has secured new orders worth Rs 1,476 crore across its Transmission and Distribution (T&D) business in multiple regions, including India, the Middle East, Africa, and the Americas.

The new orders cover a range of infrastructure works. These include a composite order in Saudi Arabia involving 380 kV transmission lines, substations, and extra high voltage (EHV) cabling. KEC has also secured contracts for 132 kV transmission lines in Africa. In addition, the company received supply orders for transmission towers in India and the Americas, and for hardware and poles in the Americas.

Commenting on the development, Vimal Kejriwal, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of KEC International, said the orders reflect continued demand in global transmission markets. He noted that the composite order in Saudi Arabia represents the company’s largest such contract in the country and indicates ongoing investment in the Middle East T&D sector despite the prevailing geopolitical environment. He also stated that the Africa order signals a gradual recovery in that market and supports the company’s international T&D order pipeline.

With these additions, KEC International’s year-to-date order intake has reached about Rs 22,800 crore. The company said the contracts were secured in the normal course of business.
