Sunsure Energy has signed long-term solar power purchase agreements (PPAs) with Daeseung Autoparts India and Ilgahng Automotive, both part of South Korea’s Daeseung Group, to supply a combined 8 MW of solar power to their manufacturing facilities in Kanchipuram, Tamil Nadu.

Under the agreements, electricity will be supplied from Sunsure Energy’s 75 MW solar plant located in Ilayangudi. Daeseung Autoparts India is expected to receive around 8 million units of electricity annually, which will meet nearly 60% of its total power requirement.

The agreements support the adoption of renewable energy in the automotive manufacturing sector while contributing to the decarbonisation of industrial electricity consumption.

Earlier, in November 2025, Sunsure Energy signed a long-term renewable power purchase agreement with Bisleri International Private Limited. Under that arrangement, the company will supply solar power to Bisleri’s manufacturing facility in Ghaziabad from its 82.5 MWp solar project located in Erach, Uttar Pradesh.
